ABOUT US
We're neighbours helping neighbours.
We started as a group of local people who came together to provide mutual aid to support our community through Covid-19. We started two Facebook groups and encouraged volunteers in every street to look after vulnerable people on their street by helping with shopping, prescriptions and isolation. We mapped this across Shoreham, Southwick & Fishersgate so that we could link people in with a neighbour to help.
Since then we have established weekly food donations for Adur neighbours in need which operates from The Gateway Hub in West Road, Fishersgate, as well as clothing for children mostly, including uniforms. We also provide welfare support; we found that food insecurity is often the tip f the iceberg and much more support is needed.
Our beneficial impact on the community gave us the opportunity to get financial help from Adur & Worthing Councils and so we became a not-for-profit registered company on the 5th of July 2021.

We are striving to find solutions to obstacles our neighbours find in their fight for dignity and decency. We learn as we go along, and we are grateful for the collaborations and support we have along the way.

Our next projects are opening a community shop and a well-being hub.
